Tenders Are Invited For: acquisition of a railcar for recording the geometric parameters of the railway
The Government of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire has received financing from the World Bank for the Inclusive Connectivity and Rural Infrastructure Project in Côte d'Ivoire (PCR-CI), and intends to use part of this financing to make payments under the Contract for the acquisition of a railcar for recording the geometric parameters of the railway . The award of the Contract will be in accordance with the World Bank's procurement regulations.
The Ivorian Railway Heritage Management Company (SIPF), Trust Agency of component 6 of the PCR-CI, acting on behalf of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Road Maintenance (MIER), is soliciting sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders to supply a railcar for recording defects and geometric parameters of the railway track.
This is a self-propelled light rail vehicle, equipped with sensors and systems to measure and record data on the railway track, enabling quality controls, fault detection and optimized network maintenance planning.
With a running gear consisting of two two-axle bogies, the railcar must be new, the latest or current model. It will be used for recording and checking the track geometry of the Ivorian narrow-gauge network.
